The Corvairitis Treatment day barbeque was held Saturday afternoon at Beaver Lake park.         

After the barbeque, the Corvairs left on a cruise. We didn't go on the cruise, we only had my dad's 1959 Vauxhall, (we probably wouldn't have been able to keep up) but I did "grease the town" for old time's sake with my best friend Rich and his best girl Marnie. Down Douglas to Fort, up Fort to Yates, back down Yates to Douglas and up to the White Spot, just as we would have done thirty years ago. Except we didn't see one other car "greasing the town", the White Spot isn't there anymore, and the A&W isn't a drive in. Thirty years ago, Rich and I would have been cruising the town in our Corvairs.
